BPU Holdings Make Big Changes With ZimGo

By Allie Mitchell on November 5, 2016

Social networking is such a huge part of our lives, that it is seemingly becoming one of the main ways that we communicate anymore. It is becoming one of the biggest ways we get our news and state our opinions. There are companies, such as BPU Holdings, who are honing in on the idea of people and social networking and understanding that it is more than just words on the computer. Those people who write it, whether they are right or wrong, have feelings behind it.

BPU Holdings Corporation is proud to announce that they are offering free licenses to university partners for their highly efficient sentiment technology analysis platform, ZimGo, which will have its limited beta versions based first in Korean. This news comes from a recent UWire press release.

“This new platform is ahead of so many ways of other competitors, seeing that it offers advanced features,” stated the BPU Holdings CEO, Oh Sanggyoon.

Of course ZimGo is looking to expand itself to other fields such as Healthcare and Law Enforcement, but for now the company seeks to empower educational partners to help advance the technology even more. The free licenses that are given out will give the universities access to the BPU team.

ZimGo has looked into one of the more prominent beneficiaries, such as Politics/Government. The company looked into the social media sentiment for the current election and saw that candidates were neck in neck when it came to positive or negative feelings towards them by the people.

In lieu of the recent debates the level of sentiment has become minuscule, showcasing the fact that follower commitment is quite low. Crag Burton, technologist, advisor and BPU technical strategy leader stated that “This kind of social analytics empowers people to make more informed decisions as they seek to deal with the flood of social interactivity and manage their tribe while protecting privacy.”

While other competitors are trying to become much better and seek to be more advanced than ZimGo, it has shown that it cannot be matched. BPU Holdings has shown that ZimGo is a complete Sentiment Analysis application and they have more recently added support for emoticons, while also having typical slang being analyzed; other companies are simply using an updated standard dictionary. ZimGo also provides Entity Recognition for certain people and organizations.

English and Japanese versions of ZimGo will be available soon in limited beta release. Those of you that are interested in the beta release can enroll here.
