plays favorites, can't understand how he grades, don't understand why people have given him favorable ratings on this site. boring and dull topics, made Korean history uninteresting. did I say he is cocky and extremely condescending as well?

even though you go to office hours, he is inconsistent in grading and is so picky. I went to office hours hoping to get some points back, like he advertised in class, and actually got mad at me thinking that I was talking back to him when I was simply making my point. everybody I talked to said they hated his class.

Great speaker, made Korean history interesting. Quizzes are not too bad if you attend class and study your notes. Textbooks are only neccessary for the midterm/final papers- which are relatively easy.
